The 2026 “Tuesdays at The Turf” series, presented by the Asbury Park African-American Music Project, brings a summer of free live music to Blackbird Commons in Asbury Park. Showcasing jazz, soul, funk, and contemporary sounds from acclaimed local and regional artists, the series celebrates the rich musical heritage of the community in a welcoming outdoor setting.
A highlight of the season arrives on July 21 with a special performance by Reggie Harris alongside Kym Still. Known for his powerful vocals & storytelling. Harris brings an unforgettable presence to the stage for what promises to be one of the standout evenings of the series.
